Zodi Hot Tap HP Double Burner is a great water heater to use while camping. It is battery operated and will heat water really quickly. Within just seconds the water is very warm and will feel nice and relaxing while camping, in the winter or summer. You can adjust the valves to regulate the temperature, which can get up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s mainly used for showers while camping, but may also be used to heat water for cooking and can be used on boats or at home during blackouts. It will heat endless amounts of water which will stay warm for a good amount of time due to its solid metal casing on the outside. It heats much better than the single burner does and is well worth the price, at about $260.
Besides the propane heater, it comes with several other things, including a four gallon container to store heated water in and an eight foot long shower hose with a shower head attached, both of which are very useful.
There is little in the way of let downs regarding the quality. You do have to make sure that the pump and hose are kept underwater during use or the heater could melt the plastic that the hose and pump are made of. You must first turn on the water, and then the heater. Also, it goes through regular batteries fairly quickly, so rechargeable batteries are best to use if you don’t want to have to keep replacing the batteries, but that is to be expected. Otherwise, as long as you always keep the pump submersed at all times while using the heater, it should last years.
But all in all the Zodi Hot Tap HP Double Burner is a good product and one of the best camping shower heater products there are. When I was shopping for a shower heater I wasn’t able to find a better one than this one. Other shower heaters aren’t able to heat as much water or as quickly as the Zodi Hot Tap does and they are nearly as expensive so it really isn’t worth buying them.
