Stearns SunShower 2.5 Gallons is a portable shower that is very useful to use whenever you’re to a place without a shower, such as when you are camping, when you’re on a road trip, after going to the beach, during blackouts, or when staying at a cabin that doesn’t have plumbing.
The great thing about Stearns SunShower is that it runs off of solar power, which isn’t harmful to the environment, cheaper than having to keep replacing batteries, lighter than other showers, and it is less expensive than many other portable showers currently on the market because it doesn’t need to come with a propane burner to heat the water.

It runs at about twenty dollars, which is a great price for all that it comes with and for its durability. You couldn’t find a better shower for the price or quality. The shower head is good, and is a great improvement from its last model that was slightly difficult to use due to it being a pull out shower head instead or a screw in power head. The new screw in water head reduces leaking also.
Of course, there are draw backs. Because it gets it’s energy from solar power if you aren’t in a sunny location or if it’s a rainy day it may not absorb enough energy from the sun to heat your water very much. So you have got to be sure it is placed in a sunny location for a few hours or so or you will have not have to take a cold shower, which is especially unpleasant in the winter. Otherwise it is a very nice shower and is very easy to carry with you, which is perfect for when you’re camping. It also has a nice mesh carrying bag that will make it easier to carry with you. It comes in two other sizes- four gallons and five gallons but unless you need to carry more water with you or take a long shower you shouldn’t need more than the two and a half gallon shower. It will be lighter to carry this way, and lighter is almost always better.
